The PRECIDENTD study aims to find out which diabetes medications are most effective at reducing the risk of heart and kidney disease in people with type 2 diabetes.

About the event
Why This Matters:
People with type 2 diabetes are twice as likely to develop heart disease or have a stroke—often at a younger age. This study will help identify the best treatments to lower those risks.
Who Can Participate:
You may be eligible if you have type 2 diabetes and:
A history of heart disease, stroke, or other vascular disease, or
Are at high risk for these conditions
